Are you a college student looking for an internship in local government? Well maybe we are looking for YOU!

The Cumberland County Clerk’s Office is open to college interns for the fall and spring semesters. If you are interested, please call our office at 856-453-4860, ask for Omarey or John.

The Cumberland County Clerk’s Office administers elections, primarily Vote by Mail ballots; passports; notaries; and land record documents dating back to the formation of the County in 1748.

Prospective interns would assist our office in the preservation of those records, communications with the public including social media, and categorizing and organizing the office. It will be a great opportunity to learn about history, the operation of local government, and office procedures.
