June 13, 2017 – Passport Payment Methods

As of today, Tuesday, June 13th, the Cumberland County Clerk’s Office can no longer accept payment for passport applications by credit card or cash.  All passport applications will now require a check or money order at the time of submission.  Customers may continue to pay for their application processing fee and photos using cash, credit or debit, or by personal check.

This change comes about due to amended requirements by the United States Department of State, the department in charge of final approval of the passport application.
